Joie du Voyage, or Joy of the Journey, began as a way to chronicle the renovation of my little house in France and recount the dream that eventually led me here.  With an unexpected turn of events my dream has developed into owning a second, not so little, house next door.  Now my journey follows the adventures and challenges of living in that house leading up to and during its renovation.  It’s also a journey of life in France, joining in local activities, working on my language skills, and sharing my journey with family and friends.
